Meghan Bach, Founder & Education Advocate
Founder & Education Advocate
Meghan Bach founded REACH — Representation and Education Advocacy for Children — to serve as a dedicated special education advocate in University City, helping families navigate the often complex and intimidating special education system.
As an education advocate, Meghan provides hands-on IEP advocacy services and 504 plan support for parents and guardians who are seeking the right services and accommodations for their children. She understands that every child's situation is unique, and she brings a focused, detail-oriented approach to every case.
Her work centers on ensuring that children with special needs, learning disabilities, and other challenges receive the support guaranteed to them under IDEA and Section 504 — the federal laws that protect students' rights to a free and appropriate education. From school meeting representation to records review, Meghan handles every detail so parents can focus on their child.
Based in University City, Missouri, Meghan serves families throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area with professional education advocacy.

Hands-on advocacy at every stage of the education process
Meghan sits alongside parents at Individualized Education Program meetings, helping them understand their options and advocating for services that match the child's actual needs.
When families need a professional voice at the table, Meghan communicates directly with school administrators, special education coordinators, and district officials on their behalf.
Meghan helps parents understand their rights under IDEA, Section 504, and relevant state regulations — so they can make informed decisions about their child's education.
When students face suspensions, expulsions, or other disciplinary actions, Meghan assists families through manifestation determination reviews and appeals to protect the child's placement.
Meghan carefully reviews school evaluations, IEPs, 504 plans, and other educational documents to identify gaps, errors, or missed services that could affect a child's progress.
Working with families, Meghan creates clear, step-by-step action plans for engaging with the school system — including timelines, documentation strategies, and escalation paths if needed.
Meghan believes that effective education advocacy starts with listening. Before taking any action, she takes the time to understand each family's concerns, the child's history, and what outcomes matter most to the parents.
“Parents know their children best. My job is to make sure the school system listens.”
Her approach is collaborative when possible and assertive when necessary. Meghan works to maintain constructive relationships with school personnel while never compromising on a child's right to appropriate services.
Every case is handled with confidentiality, attention to detail, and a clear focus on the child's educational well-being.
