What a Consultation Looks Like

Our consultation service is a one-on-one conversation where we review your situation, explain your rights, go over school documents, and help you figure out your next steps. It's straightforward, practical guidance — no jargon, no runaround.

Consultations can be done by phone, video call, or in person. We work around your schedule.

• Review of your child's school records and evaluations
• Explanation of what the school is (and isn't) required to do
• Help understanding evaluation results and eligibility decisions
• Strategy for upcoming meetings or conversations with the school
• Written summary of recommendations and next steps
• Guidance on when to escalate and what options are available

A consultation is a standalone service. You're welcome to use what you learn and handle things on your own. If you decide you want ongoing advocacy or meeting representation, we can discuss that — but there's never any pressure to commit beyond the consultation itself.
